We support families of Deaf or Hard of Hearing children, unbiased towards communication methods. As a parent-driven nonprofit, we provide resources, networks, and information to improve communication access and education. Our outreach, collaboration, and advocacy help Deaf and Hard of Hearing children reach their full potential.

Partners in Promoting Early Intervention and Family Support
Hands & Voices of New York and the New York State Early Hearing Detection and Intervention Program (NY EHDI) support the US Surgeon General’s Healthy People 2020 goal: Newborns screened for hearing loss by 1 month, have audiologic evaluation by age 3 months, and are enrolled in appropriate intervention services by age 6 months.
Parents, we are here to support you as you start your journey with your child who is Deaf or Hard of Hearing.
The Hands & Voices community was founded by parents for parents just like you! Most important of all, know you are not alone! We are here for you. We support you in your role as your child’s biggest cheerleader, greatest teacher and advocate.
