ASL Storytime at Play Haven

We are thrilled that Cathi Conticello and Gail Mitchell, both Deaf Mentors with the Shared Reading Project, will be hosting an ASL story time on June 29th, 11am-2pm at Play Haven in Kingston! This free event is for families with young Deaf and Hard of Hearing Children but all ages are welcome. We will have food, drinks, and space to connect with each other!

Great for families who are just starting to learn ASL with their deaf or hard of hearing child. All signing levels welcome.

The Shared Reading Project (SRP) is a highly acclaimed, research-based program that teaches hearing parents and caregivers how to effectively read to their young deaf and hard of hearing children. The SRP aims to strengthen the literacy and language skills of deaf and hard of hearing children through exposure to accessible language, extensive mentorship from Deaf individuals, and family support.
