Families gathered at the Wild Wings Nature Center for a fun and engaging morning together. Children and parents had the chance to explore the center, learn about the birds and animals, and connect with one another in a relaxed, welcoming environment.
Each family expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to attend the Yankees Game with their child and the opportunity to meet other families from across New York State who have children who were deaf or hard of hearing.

We had 19 families with over 30 children attend our event at the Apple farm. We had an Interpreter at our event who assisted with the deaf adults. She was also able to teach animal ASL vocabulary and taught the song “Old MacDonald” in sign language.
