Come Join Us at the Playground Meet Up – We welcome families with children who are Deaf or Hard of hearing to join us for a fun morning of play and connecting!

We are thrilled that Cathi Conticello and Gail Mitchell, both Deaf Mentors with the Shared Reading Project, will be hosting an ASL story time on June 29th, 11am-2pm at Play Haven in Kingston! This free event is for families with young Deaf and Hard of Hearing Children but all ages are welcome. We will have food, drinks, and space to connect with each other!

HVNY Summer Kickoff 2025 – Hands & Voices of NY, and New York EHDI are excited to bring you our next Capital Region Event for families with children who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing. Come play and learn some summer safety tips!

Hudson Valley Hands & Voices invites families with children who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing to meet, connect, enjoy outdoor games, and have refreshments at our 2025 summer BBQ event. Activities are geared for young children but all ages are welcome!

This is a great chance for kids and families to explore and connect! This event is for families with children who are deaf or hard of hearing as well as community providers. Come explore Wild Wings & The Fairy Trail! Resources will be shared and snacks will be provided!

We welcome families with children who are deaf and hard of hearing, as well as community providers, to join us for a fun morning! Includes a hayride to the pumpkin patch, any pumpkin from the patch, a pony ride for kids, a corn maze, and snacks!

Family Apple Picking for families with children who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing to meet, exchange resources, and have fun! Bring your little ones and siblings to meet other families for apple picking. Each family can pick a complimentary bag of apples and we’ll enjoy cider donuts at the end of the outing!
