Hudson Valley Summer BBQ Event

Eight families with Deaf/Hard of Hearing children gathered on August 3rd for a BBQ and fun activities at Tony Williams Park pavilion in Highland, NY. While children played on the playground and enjoyed watermelon and drinks, parents connected and shared resources. Hamburgers and hotdogs were served with a side of giant bubbles and a gardening activity. Children gathered at an art table to decorate their pots before planting flower seeds. The beautiful weather meant families could chat and play for a good part of the afternoon!
