A group of 6 children and 15 adults got together at Play Haven in Kingston NY for the Hands and Voices March Meetup in the Hudson Valley. The group included families with deaf and hard of hearing children in their preschool years as well as parents with their children in college but who came to support the group! We played and crafted some rainbow suncatchers and paper shamrocks. One of the mothers in the group read her recently published story “Peyton’s Magical Hearing Aid”, and we read one more story together in an interpreted story time.
