Thank you Westchester Children’s Museum for welcoming families with deaf and hard of hearing children for a museum experience on March 28. This Hands & Voices event was sponsored by NY EHDI.

Three museum staff members assisted us with the tour. They explained each station and helped kids and families enjoy different activities. Families participated in skill building activities, problem solving, art creations while practicing social skills and communication skills.

This was such a lovely event, all kids of all ages and different abilities found something they could excel at. Families had a wonderful time. Everyone got a goodie bag with information about Hands & Voices of NY and HELLO Lab.

A huge thank you to our parent members Tara and Jitka for organizing!
