Winter Play Meet-Up

Hudson Valley families met at Rhinebeck’s “At Play” play space on February 8th for a Hands & Voices event. Everyone gathered together in a private room at the play space to enjoy coffee, bagels and refreshments while families filtered in.

Some of the children enjoyed a scavenger hunt of ASL illustrations that had been hidden around the room as well as a big arts and crafts table. After a brief welcome and introduction to Hands & Voices by event organizers, the door was opened to the large playroom and the children were off to the races! The event ran for two hours and offered adults and kids alike time to meet or catch up.

The event was organized by Kit Fraser, Andréa Grieco, Abbey Longyear, and Dan Stern and was sponsored by the New York State Early Hearing Detection and Intervention Program (NY EDHI) and Hands and Voices of New York.
